Bsi.: Τhe built environment’s new standard for quality management

Safety can be achieved through the application of quality management systems.

In response to industry calls for a single trusted document, we’re producing BS 99001 – Quality Management Systems – Specific requirements for the built environment sector. This standard is due to be published in November.

It’ll give the built environment sector a way to demonstrate its commitment to raising quality. It will also provide a tool to address fundamental issues on individual projects that can compromise the suitability, safety and durability of built assets.

To learn more about the standard and influence its development you should join us at a short webinar on 26 May at 12:00 – 13:00 UK time.

The webinar will:

  • Outline the context within which the standard’s being developed
  • Give you advance information on its content, its relationship with ISO 9001 and how it can be used
  • Give you the chance to put your questions to our experts, including Ian Richardson – Sector Lead for Built Environment, British Standards Institution (BSI) and Jon Adshead – Compliance & Audit Director, Mace

To develop your personal expertise and understanding of the new standard and the quality management issues having a strategic impact on the built environment, you should book your place at the webinar now.
