Consultation open: National Construction Code discussion paper
The Commonwealth Treasury has released a discussion paper seeking views on how to modernise and improve the National Construction Code (NCC).
If you are involved in the building and construction industry, or have an interest in the NCC, you are invited to submit feedback.
We are seeking bold ideas to improve the NCC. Views are welcomed about how we can modernise the NCC and its governing structures to better develop regulations, reduce construction costs, improve construction sector productivity, and ultimately increase supply.
A broad range of perspectives will be critical in guiding the next stage of this work.
