The report summarises WUF10’s remarkable achievements in terms of numbers, quality of presentations and debates, gender balance of speakers, an exceptional Urban Expo, the integrated spaces and the opportunities for encounters, exchange and partnerships. It also highlights examples of inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable urban development for all, with a strong cultural component.
WUF10 was a call to action, an opportunity to accelerate the implementation of the New Urban Agenda and make commitments we need to accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UN-Habitat will continue working with its partners to fulfil the pledges and commitments made in the Abu Dhabi Declared Actions to ensure we leave no one and no place behind.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for a successful WUF10!
