World Standards Week, celebrated internationally each year in October, honors the efforts of the thousands of experts who develop voluntary standards within standards development organizations and aims to raise awareness among regulators, industry and consumers as to the importance of standardization to the global economy. Due to continuing health and safety concerns, this year’s World Standards Week is split; virtual events will be held from Oct. 25–29, and in-person events will take place from May 17–20, 2022.
