This month NCC 2022 was adopted with many changes coming into effect as of 1 May. Further changes will be applicable from 1 October as part of the transition arrangements of this edition of the NCC.

If you’re looking to learn more about the changes and how to apply the NCC, read our Understanding NCC 2022 article to find links to resources and more.

As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability, we will be publishing high level summaries of each Board meeting. You can read the summary from our March board meeting here.

We are also planning the first open public forum to be held in the second half of this year, so please keep an eye on our website and social media for more details.

With NCC 2022 including such a large set of changes, many people ask me what we’re working on for the next edition. Read my full CEO update for more information. Read the May – CEO Update

New NCC CPD is now available – We’ve developed a new free educational product range for providers of continuing professional development (CPD).

Our NCC CPD micromodules have been developed for CPD providers to deliver as part of their own CPD activities. Our aim is to complement existing programs and increase National Construction Code (NCC) content in education.
