These online courses are an efficient and affordable way to maintain your knowledge of how fire safety systems and passive fire protection relate to the National Construction Code (NCC).

Fire control measures in buildings have evolved over history. Early approaches to fire control used separation, fire resistant materials, hand held buckets and water pumps.

Today’s fire safety systems involve a combination of passive fire measures and often active services that all work together. This means the NCC takes a holistic approach to fire safety and how a fire safety system must respond to multiple needs.

It’s important to know how and why a fire safety system must work as a whole, and how each part must work as designed, otherwise the whole system may fail.

Each course takes approximately one-hour to complete, however, you have the flexibly to pause the course and come back to it at a time that suits you.

Don’t forget, you can also claim CPD points from completing these courses. Read more about what’s included on the NCC CPD website.
