Following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower, the government and industry are working together to raise competence standards across the sector.
The new standards will help tackle the competence challenges identified in the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, Building a Safer Future, conducted by Dame Judith Hackitt, while supporting the delivery of new regulatory policies.
