WOBO has been notified that the EASME’s energy unit is on the move.
EASME’s Energy Unit will continue to implement Energy Efficiency projects in the new European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).
The new CINEA has been formally established by the European Commission (EU2021/173) and will start its operations on 1 April 2021.
The CINEA will focus its work on supporting the implementation of the European Green Deal by managing relevant Union programmes with a total budget of €52bn over the period of 2021-2027, including parts of Horizon Europe, LIFE, the Climate Innovation Fund, the Renewable Energy Financing Mechanism and parts of the Connecting Europe Facility.
