As professionals we are responsible not only for our individual safety but also the safety of others.  

Lone workers can be at greater risk of harm as they may not have anyone to help or support them if things go wrong.

WOBO appreciates this apt reminder from the Health and Safety Executive in the UK reminding us all of our roles and responsibilites.

Employers should provide training, supervision, monitoring and support for those working alone.
