Majed Dabdoub – new Secretary/Treasurer of the World Organization of Building Officials (WOBO).

The Board of Governors is pleased to welcome Majed Dabdoub as the new Secretary/Treasurer of the World Organization of Building Officials (WOBO).

Majed Dabdoub has more than 30 years of leadership and experience in the fields of structural engineering and code enforcement. Majed is widely recognized for his expertise code development and plan reviews, as well as 15 years as a professor at the Northern Kentucky University.

Dabdoub’s position as the Secretary/Treasurer of the World Organization of Building Officials is the culmination of years of experience with building codes and the construction industry.

In addition to the new duties Dabdoub will assume in his role as Sec./Treas. of the World Organization of Building Officials, he will continue in his role as President of Dabdoub and Associates located in Blue Ash, Ohio.

President Paul Myers, (Montgomery, Ohio) stated that “With the inclusion of Mr. Dabdoub as the new Secretary/Treasurer, we are confident WOBO will continue its growth as a world class organization that is helping to set the standard for building safety worldwide.”

Founded in 1984, WOBO is a worldwide association dedicated to building safety through excellence in code enforcement. In Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and United Nations Industrial Development Organization
