bsi would like to invite you and your organization to comment on a new draft standard for building safety:
PAS 8673 Built environment – Framework for competence of individual Building Safety Managers and nominated individual Building Safety Managers – Specification

​​​​​The PAS sets out the competences recommended for the role of Building Safety Managers and relates to part 4 of the UK Government’s Building Safety Bill. It is focused on, but not limited to, higher risk buildings.

The development of PAS 8673 has been sponsored by The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and supported by the Health and Safety Executive. It is part of a wider suite of standards being developed for competence in the built environment.
