How do apprenticeships work

Eligible employers can use the funds through their apprenticeship levy to pay for the apprenticeship fees, meaning that training and development budgets can be spent elsewhere. Apprentices spend 80% of their time on the job and 20% studying, allowing them to immediately apply their learning in a practical setting.
