WOBO thanks the Scottish Government for the opportunity for members and fellow professionals to participate in the consultation.
Phase 2 Permitted Development Rights Consultation Published
A public consultation on the second phase of the review on permitted development rights (PDR) was published on 11 May 2022. The PDR review is being taken forward on a phased basis, with each phase looking at new or extended PDR for specific types of development. The Phase 2 consultation seeks views on proposals which relate to electric vehicle charging infrastructure, changes of use in city, town and local centres and operational development at ports.
We would encourage everyone to get involved in the consultation as we are keen to hear from a wide range of respondents – the feedback we receive will inform the development of final proposals which we anticipate bringing into force through regulations later this year.
The consultation runs for 12 weeks and closes on 3 August 2022.
