CPD webinar – semi-automated fire-stopping design and QA on Everton stadium

4 December at 11am – In association with Ideagen Mail Manager – FREE to attend

Learn about the semi-automated process for the design development and quality assurance of fire-stopping and BWIC design at the new Everton stadium.

There are around 14,000 independent penetrations in the Everton stadium, and knowing each one is correct is a hugely difficult task.

BDP Pattern worked with main contractor Laing O’Rourke and software developer Solibri to create the software to ensure 100% validation.

BDP Pattern will detail how Fire Stopping of Service Penetration Checks application:

• unifies responsible parties (fire engineers, designers and installers) by requiring the latter to adhere to manufacturer specifications;

• encourages ownership by reducing the level of resources required to implement a robust fire safety process; and

• continually provides end-users with safety information that is 100% validated to help safely operate the building.

In the second half of the webinar, Ideagen Mail Manager will focus on an often-neglected part of information management: email management.

Email is by far the most common project correspondence tool, but poor management can mean project information is lost and time is wasted searching emails. Poor email management may even contribute to disputes.

This webinar is free to attend. Those who complete the webinar live via their own registration link qualify for an hour’s CPD. The webinar will be recorded and will be available to watch on demand shortly after live broadcast.
