WOBO recognises the moves away from fossil fuel heating.  

Probably one of the most important consultations on phasing out of fossil fuels for homes off gas grid is open until 12 January 2022.

It is suggesting that all off grid homes should be off oil or other fossil fuels by the end of 2030s. THIS IS HUGE!

The real cost of this is also staggering for individual home owners (in addition to the thousands of homes owned by housing associations, rural estates, local authorities and government departments such as defence).

The Green Alliance report Reinventing Retrofit https://lnkd.in/du7gJceK suggests until economies of scale kick in costs for achieving net zero could be £55k+ per home. Community systems will be needed to ensure everyone can reach this target but individual home solutions will be needed too!
